What’s on your Christmas menu ?

Joyeux Noel, Buon Natale, Merry Christmas !

Our very multicultural friend-mily includes French, Italian, German, American and Kiwi friends, so when it comes to the Christmas menu, we are all very excited!

First Course:

Crayfish, nice and fresh with homemade mayonnaise, is easy to begin lunch if you are still on the bubbles or cracked a bottle of 2022 Equilibrium Rose or 2023 Chardonnay.

Second Course:

Lasagna is typical of an Italian Christmas. 95% of Italian families have lasagna for Christmas. Light and soft, you can start on the 2022 Equilibrium Pinot Noir; it will pair with lasagna and the following course. Everyone around the table will appreciate a light to medium body and elegant pinot noir.

Third course:

Lamb! Yes, please! Slow-cooked with roasted vegetables.

Now, it’s time for a break:

The French call it the “trou normand”, a sorbet with a splash of spirit to aid digestion. (Originally a Calvados with apple sorbet).

Fourth course:

Cheese platter

Fifth course:

Classic French Bûche de Noel. A Yule log, best paired with 2022 Bolla Fresca Sparkling.
